ETAX MAPPER for Acumatica

eTax Mapper automatically maintains the sales tax value calculated in a Web Site(s) with the sales tax value recorded and re-recorded in Acumatica ERP.

Advanced Solutions eTax Mapper module ensures this tax value remains in sync, eliminating costly accounting activities required to align Acumatica invoice totals with credit card totals, debits ‘n credits, and associated financial reconciliation and reporting.

Acumatica’s eCommerce Edition and ISV offerings provide API’s and features that synchronize web site orders with Acumatica sales orders. Here, the buyer’s purchase and sales tax collection occur at the point of the sale in the e-commerce platform, not when created in ERP. Payments are supported via credit merchants with sales totals, fees and taxes reconciled in bank deposits made on behalf of the seller; i.e. The tax is established and paid for outside of Acumatica.

However, based upon strict GAAP compliance rules, Acumatica ERP is constructed to assure that all tax amounts are and must be calculated by Acumatica’s accounting system (as most merchants utilize their ERP to file their taxes).
